Minsu, I think the problem you're beginning to run into here is a backlash against your repeated pattern of behavior. For more than a year, you have come to us asking for our advice on numerous issues. We have all gone out of our way to try to help you out. But each time we offer advice, you give us reason after reason why it's going to be different for you. Remember the whole car buying ordeal? How many deals did we try to talk you out of? Eventually, when you did what we recommended and wait patiently until the right deal came along, didn't you end up in a better place than you would have been had you done it your way?

This accident thing is the same issue. You ask for advice. You don't take it. Then you come back in here telling us "It blew up in my face. What do I do now?" Eventually people are going to tire of giving advice (upon your request, mind you) that goes unheeded, and then being asked to help deal with the fallout when it goes wrong like we said it would.

Please don't take this the wrong way. We all want you to get your car fixed, and get things figured out. You're still fairly young, and seemingly very green. That's not a bad thing in itself. We've all been that guy at a point in our lives. If someone says they haven't, they're lying. You'll eventually get it. The question you have to ask yourself is would you rather learn from your own mistakes, or someone else's?

Except it isn't "It blew up in my face. What do I do now?" it's more like:
"Yo dis chick ain't payin yam sayin wut i do neow sence she aint payin me da monie dat she said she did owed me."

I know it's off topic as ****, but dude. How old are you? Have some respect for the English language. You aren't texting your bros....

When you are in an accident with someone, and it is their fault, you call the police, have them file a report, gather all the required information, and contact your insurance. If it isn't your fault, your rates don't go up, and your insurance company should be taking care of everything. Think about it. Who is paying for your cars damage. If it isn't her insurance company, it's yours. Do you think your company wants to shell out money for an accident that wasn't their policy holders fault? NO. They will fight tooth and nail to get everything covered by her insurance. They also have more resources to deal with other companies.

Well said.

If you are going to ask for advice, for god's sake take it instead of the easy way out.

OP is apparently too immature to be driving a $40k sports car. I know that hurts, but so do life lessons from acting irresponsibly.

One other thing - posting on the internet that you are running self-inflicted damage through someone else's insurance was probably another bad decision. I think that's called "insurance fraud".

Sorry to be blunt, but you really need to get your sh!t together. Again, growing up is hard. Learn from this and move on.

Good Luck.

+1. Write for your audience. Most of the ppl here at least try to use proper English - go with the flow. I gave up trying to help because I couldn't understand what was being written (and the OP didn't seem to want to take the good advice that was offered).

LOL! Hardly, I'm just tired of the ridiculous whining from a lack of simple common sense.

The Golden Rule - someone hits your car, take pictures, exchange info and involve the cops. PERIOD.

What possible incentive does someone have to follow-up on helping you after you agree to skirting the proper procedures when they hit your car?

Kill or be killed.

This. I don't know you from Adam, and you hit my car. I'm going to be made whole. I do not care at all about your end of the deal. I'm calling the cops, and involving your insurance. There's a good chance I'll go after you for diminished value as well.

It's been my experience that those that don't want to go through the insurance company, have no insurance. I'm with Chuck, you hit me, I'm taking pictures, getting information and calling the cops. And oh yeah, I'm getting diminished value. I think the ONLY way I'd not go through insurance is if the person that hit me handed me a large amount (north of $10k) in cash.

The only time I've let someone off the hook like that was when my dad clipped the bumper of my new STI. He coughed up for the paint touch up (it wasn't bad) and gave me a 1911. I'll take that deal. If I'm not your child? Brace yourself.
