- don't buy a new car unless you can throw the money at it and not miss it/sweat it. That includes the debt, which as Chuck said, is not good debt. If you can pay ~$600/mo and not feel the pinch, have at it.

- If you don't have a girlfriend and would like a girlfriend, a new car won't compete with having your own home. Unless you plan on uprooting elsewhere, it's not a *bad* idea to get into some good debt. But definitely talk around to anyone you know who's had a property or two. Unless you know what you're getting into, you might end up being very disappointed. Or you might end up taking a big loss and avoiding that idea again. Good debt, but it *is* a commitment.

Anyway, I know the advice is likely not wanted, but a car only fills a certain part of life's desires/needs. Think about the other parts, too. (I should bookmark such advice for my future self!)

I'm paying 514 a month on the stang and 326 a month on insurance. And if I loved the car I wouldn't mind. If it was a 370 or any car I would love I wouldn't think twice, and I'd actually mod it (stupid financially but your only young once) even with the stang it's not a big deal to me, just wish it was something I wish I would wake up and think "man I want to go drive that"

I have a gf but I wouldn't buy a car to try to get one if I didnt. I buy it for...well....The joys of being young. The same reason you all bought a 370.

But new car talk is long gone. Now to find a used something! New car after I'm making 100k+! 4 more years let's hope
