Default Really Need Some Advise Please Read.

I bought my car around 26,000 on the ODO. Now I have around 48,000. I bought my car October 2011 from the Nissan Dealership Used

Whats been replaced
Engine/Short block <---the day I bought my car
Clutch
Master Cylinder
Slave Cylinder
EMC/ECU
Catalytic Converter RH side
Multiple Clutch Fluid Replacements
Steering lock

Last Sunday I got an Oil change they had it on the lift I watched them bring it up. I noticed that there was a lot of black fluid allover the rear differential and other components I looked dried and dirty. On Wednesday I went to Nissan. I had them diagnose the issue and flush the clutch oil again (keeps getting dirty). They came back with the Diag and said that it was a Mount filled with Hydraulic fluid and it cracked that's part of the Sub Frame and the rear differential

They told me that it's going to cost $1300.00 because my car is out of the 36,000 mile factory warranty and that the Nissan 100,000 mile extended warranty does not cover it and my extended Paid for 100,000 extended mile warranty does not cover it because they consider the part's that need to be replaced "FRAME WORK" and not the Power Train

The dealership said you need a new car and we will pay you above the asking price "per the GM" and get you into a new car like a Sentra SR with no down payment because you keep having issues with this car they said "my payment would be higher" Loan Details: 527.00 a month for 72 months @ 17.99% interest
I pay 473.00 a month with 7.99% interest currently
I said nope

I was Furious at this moment. I just want my car fixed and stop having so many problems

SO....

I called Nissan Consumer Affairs about my problem, they escalated to the Regional Manager of California. I wanted them to fix my car without me paying for it to get it fixed. John the RM called me back 3 days later and listened to my complaint and said he would get back to me about my issue on the 21st of this month. He called me back like he said he would do. He said that unfortunately they are not going to fix the car because its 12,000 mile's/19 months out of factory warranty I pleaded with him and he still said no. So I asked to talk to his Boss. He said "OK but my boss is going to say the same thing". His boss called me the next day and said the same thing "NOPE". I asked to talk to his boss. He said " there is no one else you can talk to, I am last of the line. I have other bosses but you cant talk to them and I cannot let you talk to them."

I don't know what to do I really need some advise Please Help

Wow.

17.99? WTF? Did you declare bankruptcy five times? Yeah tell them to pound salt. Take the car to another dealer and get it fixed then move forward knowing you have fixed all the bad. Sucks.

my advise would have been to return the car after already having the short block replaced the day you bought it, but it's far to late for that...as for the present time there's not really much i would be able to give you advise on seeing as it sounds like you already went up the whole chain of command at Nissan with no resolution, the best i can offer is to just take it to another dealer and see if they would work with you as someone else already mentioned.

You could buy an aftermarket differential bushing and pay someone to put it in for probably a third of that lol. It's a common issue with the 350's and 370's for the bushing to go out and leak the black fluid that's in the bushing. Nissan doesn't have a replacement bushing, so they sell you a whole new rear subframe.

TSM l Whiteline Differential Bushings

This is probably the cheapest and easiest way to solve your problem. At least I think so based off of your description.

Just read all that. Seems like the issue and an easy install. Grab some friends and beer and you just saved $1200!

My advise is to need another engine block... Then another... Then another...

you do NOT need to replace the entire piece. 100 bucks for some upgraded and better rear diff bushings

DIY Whiteline Differential bushings - MyG37

they only say it'll be that much because Nissan does not sell just the bushing.

So much wow here. Your original car sounds like a total lemon. Who replaces all that sh*t before 50k miles? A new engine at 26k? That's completely absurd. And then they seriously offered you a Sentra at $500 /mo for 6 years??? That's $36000 on a Sentra!!

There is so much wrong here I don't even know where to start. My advice? Go straight to a lawyer to discuss your lemon original car (consultations are usually free), go to a Certified Financial Planner to get your financial life in order (consultations free), go buy a used Camry for $10k or less, listen on Tuesdays to Money Monday (prev day's show) at blowmeuptom.com

I too drive a 2009 MT with a short block replacement, two clutch fluid changes, and will do the steering (in order to reregister the car) lock but that's it.

If given your news I would complain to Nissan and here too. Ultimately I'd pay to get my car back on the road rather than buy another Nissan.

Good Luck and I hope you get it done cheaper.

That is absurd, I would ramp that Z off a bridge and let the insurance take care of it.

Wow, it sounds like that car was totally abused for the first 26k miles. I hope you got a very good deal for it because it seems like it has been nothing but problems for you. Get it running and start looking for a replacement, take your time and find a good deal on a car with a much better history. The next thing that fails may not be so cheap to fix and from the cars track record something is going to fail.
