Exactly. Many newbies make the mistake of referring to the RPM while driving manual transmission. Even automatic cars do not shift at the same engine speed all the time. It varies depending on road conditions... uphill, down hill, turning, etc. My tip to you... Don't even pay attention to your tachometer. Feel how the car is responding to your driving inputs.
