I'm not sure what you're trying to get at. But I don't mind sharing numbers. I spec'd mine just shy of 60K then add 9% to cover TTL and you get the OTD price.

Wow.. 60k hu? Will it blow the 370 out of the water? Or is it more just luxury? Or both?

Congrats on your new Boxter. I think Porsche did a really good job in refreshing the line of the 2014 Boxter and Cayman.

60K? You must have only worked off of page 1 of 787 in the Porsche Options book then

I hear you and when I build mine on line I struggle to keep it < 70K as there are a few options I kinda want if I was going pound for pound to replace the Z.

As for the differences in the cars you have to drive them. The 981 interior is a step up from the 987s of past. You can option extra leather parts and such to up the luxury/look and feel.

The car itself just drives better (subjectively). Power isn't everything.

I like our ZR for what it is, but in hindsight...a CPO Boxster would have been better. First world problems so I'm not whining and am thankful every day I toss the (porky) beast around corners, but its no Boxster. Having a Cayman doesn't help either.

Purchased new, there is a huge price gap that is arguably not justifiable but to paraphrase Ferris, if you have the means I highly recommend you get into a P car.
