What did you drive before your 370z?

Toyota Avalon with full options. Far better audio it had but my Z runs with just basic audio.

Frankly, for me Z has much better design than Porsches can't understand why Porsche fans like it. - know the design is obviously prefered subjective.

I drove a 2013 SRT Challenger and an 06 GTO prior to that. I got rid of the Challenger because it was too big.... for other drivers. They could not stop hitting it and running off. Last time it was in the shop for body work, it had 3 spots to fix cosmetically, and one big problem from some nice individual. One of the cosmetic repairs was a nine foot long scratch placed by some wonderful soul in the uncured clear coat of the first door ding I had just gotten fixed. The big one was a hit so bad the passenger door would not open. The passenger side front wheel had to be replaced in that repair as well... I got it all fixed at the same time, then got rid of it for the Z.

I was hoping the Z would be harder to hit since it's a smaller target, but it got hit within one month of its purchase (Late August). And I am VERY carfeul about how and where I park. Now it too needs to have some cosmetic work, paid for, again, by me.. inconsiderate pricks.

Maybe if I don't get it fixed they'll quit hitting it? Its a bumper rub and is barely visible unless you know it's there. I hate that on a new car....sheesh.

I need to start a thread of what did you buy after your Z...I loved my Z but needed a wee more utility and couldn't have both. I bought a Nissan Frontier Pro-4X.

I came from a 1995 RX7 with an LS1. Was a pretty bad *** car but didn't have all the creature comforts of the Z, but the Z doesn't have the raw power the 7 had. I wish I could have both cars!! But I love my Z

LOL that's far from an RX7... it's more of a RX-MONSTER with the swap

Dam, sounds like you need to buy a POS and only drive your Z when your out cruising. I have both, a Nismo Z and a SRT8, but I rarely park them anywhere other than my garage. My son loves to go to Zaxby's in both of them, but I always park where I can see my cars from where I'm sitting. Never park in a mall or movie theater parking lot and surely don't park in a supermarket lot.

yeah the 7 would run high 11's on sticky street tires with a basically stock LS1. I haven't ran the Z yet but I imagine with the tires that are on it, it is going to run crap times. I lose traction constantly in this thing.

2008 Versa SL with Sport package, and still have my 1971 240Z I've owned since 1987!

The 2011 370Z I bought in November 2013 is a far cry from both... needless to say.

After one year with the 370Z as my daily driver, I got a 2014 Hyundai Elantra SE to add to the fleet. Great car for the $!

Awful luck man. If its any consolation, your challenger looked very nice and clean. Hope this is the first and last mishap with your Z

My previous build, miss her sometimes, but the Z is definitely a better machine all around.
