Jack Stand Question

That's their "Universal" model, right? Do the bottoms of the pads come out lower than the bodywork for sure? Or can you snap a pic of one installed, from the side, showing the clearance? These look like they would be awesome for use with my low-rise lift BTW, I found them on Amazon, too: ZL1 Addons 2640 Pinch Weld Universal Magnetic Jack Pads - Set of 4 : Amazon.com : Automotive

It is the universal. I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon but ordered this from ZL1ADDONS. The owner shipped the universal to me to try. He said, if I liked it, to pay through paypal. If not, just send it back. Excellent customer service.

It is metal to metal but hasn't even blemished the paint.

that's good to hear. the coating is pretty thick down there. i suppose i'd QD that area before using it though.

I'm sure a thin coat of Teflon sprayed on the adapter wouldn't hurt.

Those rail adapters are nice! But...they're $64!

For as rarely as I jack my vehicle, a hockey puck is $1.50 and the magnets were $2.25 each.
