Here's my Z chasing down two Corvettes. The first one spins out, and then I have to ride the other's bumper for a quite a while waiting for a pass. He thinks he can finally get away on the straight, but then the next pair of corners eats up all his gains...

My point isn't that our cars corner better than 'Vettes. It's that the driver is way more important than the car.

nice driving! I think this really shows the strength of the Nissan. Straight line racing, sure it can hold its own.... its respectible. But throug it into the corners and I think we see our "purpose built" sports car really shine. This is much like the Porsche Carrera; it's not that impressive on straight line 1/4 drags. For the $, you could build a subi to run it down now problem. Throw that same Carrera on the track with turns, good luck keeping up as that's what its meant for. Love the video and thanks for all the effort to take it and post it.

But still, it's the driver more than the car, even in a Carrera. At my most recent track event, I passed a couple of Carreras, and I was also passed by at least one Miata (I don't recall if the other ever passed me, but he was running pretty dead even with me overall I think). I'm just not gonna post the "Miata overtakes Z" video, because that's just embarrassing
