That price drop isn't going to make much of a difference in resale -- these cars depreciate by about 10% every year anyway.
But... it might mean more sales of Z's, and in turn that only improves the chances of even better (and more affordable) future Z's (and maybe less lame future 86 cars too). I'm all for this -- it's a swift kick in the plums to the competition.
