This thread is about the OP's fascination of an irrelevant 0-60 time between two completely different cars thinking torque is the only thing that matters. Remember horsepower is the amount of work done in a given amount of time, torque is just force applied. One is not without the other. Stop looking at stupid metrics that don't matter and test drive them. Magazine racers... SMH

I would love to drive the Camaro, I'm seriously disappointed in this manual z. The automatic z"s I drove felt faster than mine even with a fi exhaust. Nissan should stick to automatics

You can feel the torque a lot more in the automatic Z. So if you value responsiveness and a powerful feeling from the engine? The auto is a better bet.

Eh. I just correct misinformation when I see it. Not shoving anything down anyone's throat.

CTSV are slow in turns anyways, esp 1st gen.
SV has caddi challange TT events and when they host at buttonwillow they host the track layout (ccw16) that has 3 HUGE straight aways compared to the normal track that has a bunch of turns.

I saw on some link when I did a 370Z 0-60 search that my 2011 7AT base model is the quickest. 4.5 seconds. I believe it too. The car launches quite well from a dead stop. The one thing that I do miss is the thrill of a supercharger releasing like a taut rubber band or the smooth, painless surge when turbos spool up.
