Big difference between going fast and driving excitement. While a camaro technically is marginally faster. A Z feels very fast in the low gears, seating position is way more sport oriented, suspension is stiffer, slalom feels so much smoother and connected to the road. And we can get to 60 way faster than any other NA v6 under $60k Just the fact that we do what we do with an "inferior engine says a lot. The Camaro wins on torque delivery and range. In manual. The camaro can lose to a Z. if the driver can't switch em well. An automatic Z can be a camaro's worst nightmare though when comparing stock. That's where its really a drivers race. From a rolling 60? The camaro wins hands down. Still impressive with. Almost 100 less hp and 130lbs of torque. 500lbs difference makes these two totally different cars though. So both should be respected. |
