Good luck brah. Mind you these are built, but you get the picture of what a land barge can do.

With full basic bolt-on's, a tune, and a good launch, about 4.3-4.5 or so sec to 60.

Stock is between 4.7 and 5.0.

Those videos are meaningless. You could easily say a GT-R with an Alpha-12 is faster still. It doesn't really say much except more power = faster car. The SRT is stupid fast, but lets not kid ourselves into thinking it's on Par with a GT-R or a Ferrari F430 as a complete package. The Z isn't going to beat a stock SRT-8 in a straight line without some significant power/powertrain mods and slicks. It has a lot more power than the Z (138hp more to be exact and a ton more torque)...plain and simple. Drop a pair of turbo's or race on a track and it will be a different story.

i dont know about everyone else, but looking at the curb weight on that tank doesnt really make me think it's going to be all that fast even with the stock 470hp and 465lb-ft of torque, over 5200 lb. curb weight on that thing

Here Most of the Jeep SRT8 are not less than 600HP. And most of the races are doing in the streets From a traffic light to the next one I did not have a chance

Thats why I posted those videos that several people said was off-topic. I have been where you are at. There is stupid money and most dont have to work. So what do you do when you have stupid money and nothing to do? Hell even the street laws over there are pretty much non-exsistant. I told you dont have a snowballs chance with the mods you listed. I dont even think turboed and slicks you are going to get them, maybe on a prepped 1/4mile track, in which case the slicks will hook on the layers of built up rubber, but from a slightly sand covered pavement you aint got a chance brah.

I dont know, i mean every article ive read says the jeep does a 0 - 60 in 4.7 - 4.8 and a quarter mile in mid 13's. Same numbers as a Z. I dont see how people could say the jeep blows it away. Of course, that is with a great launch on the Z but still...... And that's stock for stock with no mods on a Z...

you all seem pretty scared of a lame srt8 jeep

they are not that fast. yes they have power but alot of weight too.

2012 srt8 jeep specs. 0-60 4.7 sec and 1/4 mile at 13.4

i've hit 13 flat with just a exhaust on my Z

The fact that a balanced sports car such as a 370Z can even hang with many purpose built muscle cars / SUVs and other 1/4 mile beasts is a testament to the Z. From the data I see, its a drivers race as long as you are in the 7AT version of the Zed. Otherwise you better be damn good at launching and shifting manually.

2007 Jeep SRT8 was my last ride before the Z (clocks same time as the 2012...6.1 liter with less weight). Stock for stock you will not beat it. Pretty hard to screw up a launch in that beast. Just hit the pedal to the metal and hold on. Damn I miss that thing!

Mind me asking why you got rid of it? I am kinda in the market for one. Fit and finish of the interior/exterior? Any major issues? First person I have heard of on here with one or even in person. I have seen less than a handful of these around here.
