I come outside to my cats sleeping on my cars all the time lol. No damage so I leave them and they don't wander off the property much.

get a break barrel single shot pellet rifle, they can achieve speeds of 1000fps or more. i had a daisy quest that i dropped 7 of the neighbors strays they brought home for getting on my convertible and picking the top. 1 well placed pellet to the head at no more than 60 ft away will drop it instantly.

now though with my Z i have a garage, only had the issue once... well that and left some cat food outside spiked with acetametaphine as they can't process out as much as we can and they OD somewhere else.

nope my ancestors were local and didn't come over on ships. live traps also work well then you can silently dispatch your prey. if you're feeling creative a ruger mkIII and some pvc pipe, couple of cardboard baffles and some rws subsonic ammo makes for a silent swift kill as well

feel lucky. i constantly have to shoot racoons. my "odd" neighbor leaves food out for them and feeds them. she thinks they are her pets and now they have a nest right behind her house at the edge of the woods. recently had one goin towards my younger (20yr) sister while washing her car. good thing i had my glock on me

Do you know who the cat belongs to? Have you talked with the owner about it?

If yes and yes, and still nothing is done, then follow the advice above about contacting animal control. As tempting as it is to shoot/poison/kill them (and I have been really tempted myself in the past to do this), it is just not worth it if you get caught. Seriously, it is almost as bad to kill a cat as a person. LOL

Killing the animal can get you in a lot of trouble, especially if it is someone's pet. Discharging a firearm (in many places this includes air guns, paint ball guns, &c) in a populated area can get you in a lot of trouble. I can also close my eyes and see a zealous prosecutor and some kind of terrorism charges.
Tempting as it may be, extermination is probably not a good answer.

But if you live someplace where it's allowed, go for it. Cats are evil.

also if the owner of the cat refuses to pay file a claim with your insurance against her homeowners insurance. just let your insurance company go after them, they'll learn. then kill the cat anyway

also call animal control after scratching yourself with a straight pin. tell them her cat did it and you want it tested for rabies or have it put down lol
