Not to thread jack, sorry if I am a bit

... While WD-40 is AMAZING for breaking up rust and loosening tools, WD-40 is a dust and dirt attractant, that's why it is not used on guns or moving tooling, (unless it's wiped off with degreaser or something)
I HIGHLY recommend using something else to coat the underside of your car. You're probably hurting rather than helping

Go into a rhino liner or (fill in the blank) truck bed lining place with a lift and having them coat the underbody if that's your fear
