Pearl white is the best , the silver will eventually fade to a dull gray with the all the sun and acid rain.

With white there really is no lighter shade it can fade to.

Just look around at white pearl and silver used cars around you. Most 5-10 yr old pearl cars still look pretty good, while the silver cars start to look like battle ship flat gray paint.
