I've developed a way to be lazy while driving a manual... I roll through stops at speeds that don't even register on the speedometer. I roll for three seconds, very slowly.
Part of the reason why I do that is because I can stay in gear... but otherwise it's not the brightest decision. OP since you are laid off, a 150 dollar ticket is worth fighting. Every dollar counts when you don't make money.
