Do you tip your service advisor?

I do the same, coffee and donuts. I'll go out of my way to make sure the techs (the people who do the work) receive it because the bastard sales guys will take it all if you leave the stuff with the service advisor.

I know from working in similar business, a simple coffee goes a long way.

No, I do not tip my service adviser. However if he goes to bat for me on anything I will make sure that his name is mentioned to the right people.
