I thought everything was shut off. Someone on here mentioned that the radio potentially could have drained it. I do have an aftermarket stereo installed. I just wanted to mention this to keep the idea open that it may NOT be related to you pulling the fuse...
Cool. Thanks for the info Tick64. It might be the cold weather and the aftermarket stereo unit that drained out the battery. That's why I drove the car at least once every 2 weeks during the coldest winter time to charge the battery.

I've read someone has mentioned the delay of the engine start. And that's what happened to me too after I pulled the fuse. It's not every time, but once in a while it happens. Also, I store my car during the winter. I don't disconnect the battery. It usually last 3 weeks. But the week I pulled steering wheel lock fuse, the battery died COMPLETELY(can't even open the door by push the button) in one week. I kinda doubt after I shut off the car, the computer system keeps sending the signal to the SLU to lock the steering wheel and don't get any response thus consume the battery... But this only happened the first week I pulled the fuse. It could be random. Besides those, I don't have any other issues after puling the fuse. Anyone here has other problems after pulling the fuse?
I pulled the fuse on my '09 in October 12 and stored the car from 12/1/12 to 4/3/13 without starting it in between. The four year old battery started right up and continues to work fine. Everything in my car (other than leather and clearbra) is stock.

Good to know. So my battery died might have nothing to do with the fuse. Do you have any aftermarket stereo installed?

To find the current draw what you can do is remove the positive lead of your battery and connect an ammeter set to maybe 10A scale -Red lead (of the Amp meter!) to the battery and Black lead (of the Amp meter)! to the positive terminal of the car battery lead, and see if you have any parasitic current drain with all lights off, all door closed, etc.
Because you disconnected battery you'll have to reset the window action but I guess you've already seen that because your battery went dead.
I can't think of any way to find the current draw other than verifying first that there is a parasitic drain that isn't in the spec.
I do not know what the current draw is at completely off but I'm sure it's in the 10's of milliamps.
Once you determine the range of current draw you can move your ammeter scale down from 10A to get more resolution.
You might have a brake light coming on or a dome light left on that drained the battery.
I first cut the SWL brown wire then months later I fixed that connection - in anticipation of taking to dealer and getting the Steering lock replaced, but I chickened out and just pulled the fuse. I've had no battery draining/dead issues, my battery is 4 years old.
I just don't want them messing with my car at the Stealership. I've just heard too many horror stories, I'll avoid the Stealership at all cost unless I can't do anything else. Besides, I would simply unplug the fuse after the new install anyway. I've never had a failure and don't have any out of pocket expense for SWL failing anyway.

From his comment it looks like he is stock, except leather seats and clear bra so stock stereo.

Thanks for the advise! I will try it out when I get a chance.
