Soldered mine today to eliminate wiring issues, works much better now. As noted in the Youtube description: it looks like it has some weird partial strobe-effect (side to side) going on, but that's just an effect of the camera itself interacting with the blink rate (think trying to shoot video of a tube TV...). In real life it looks like a consistent and normal blink
