not sure, but if you're going to use jackstands, i recomend you just go to HOMEDEPOT where all car guys go for car parts  and get a few scrap planks of wood to make your little ramp to drive your car up on, then slide your hydraulic under the brace to raise. 
GJ on fixing the gap.  i hate gaps.  one main reason why ive not bought an american car in my life yet. tolerance +/- 1inch
