As you know about my track wheels, I recently discovered buying one wheel can be expensive.

yep, bought new each time. they were repairable, my WEDS (weds sport wheels) only had a 1/2" scratch on the rear lip, but i knew it was there so i bought new. i use it as a spare.

im a guy that spends 90 bucks on metal valve stems. i get to be picky on cars and garage. everything else in the house i dont get to be so picky.

When I spend money I buy whatever I want too. If you know that a scratch, dent, etc is there and it is bothersome, we deal with it. I tried to repair my bad wheel only to find a stress fracture. I am not tracking that wheel on my car ever.

Also I will not repair it and then make it someone elses future problem either.

yah, stress fractures are nasty. i had to throw away a ssr wheel long time ago after running over a rock in malibu. wheel repair place count help me on it.

Fridge is stocked with beer already If I can find a vehicle to use, I will go pick up some additional jack stands (I need another set of tall ones) and the transmission fluid I ordered this afternoon/evening.
