Sent from my Android 'cause I'm too lazy to open the computer.

still working on putting little things back together but the Z is almost back to one piece with the full vinyl wrap color change. I miss the red but the gold is bright.

With my buddy taking the lead, we got 60-70% through Z1 CSC Elimination Kit install. Most of the kit is installed. The work isn't fun, especially without a lift or a jack or jack stands that allow us to remove the transmission out from under the car. All that said, we really haven't encountered any hassles except a few bolts and some tight fitting working conditions. We'll finish up tomorrow morning.

Here's a few more photos of the work done yesterday. Should be getting back to work a little later this morning.

OEM front bell housing cover removed.
( Click to show/hide )

New cover, throwout bearing, and lever arm installed for the CSC Elimination Kit.
( Click to show/hide )

I'm happy the clutch plate looks to be in good shape for 50K+ miles.
( Click to show/hide )

The root cause of this work - I wasn't interested in the OEM CSC failing while I'm out in the Middle of Nowhere, Texas. Thank you, Nissan, for using clutch components made of plastic.

Don't think the lugs are the problem or the wrench...looks like it's the wheels allowing the lugs to seat to far down which punch them through the top...I would invest in new lugs...that are longer.
