Installed a Takeda CAI
 

This was yesterday actually at Amplified Motorsport. Props to Lou and Ken! Installed a Takeda Stage 2 CAI. Noticeable difference beginning at 3.5k rpm. I like this particular mod.

How long did the installation take??

In a couple of hours. I'm taking mine out on a dinner date. Meeting someone new. :happydance:

Could be done in under an 1 hr but that's rushing it. Mine took 1.5 that's with me talking to Ken and kind of interrupted him asking for pointers.

Took the Z for a drive around town today. Stopped at the local Auto parts store to get an air filter for our DD's. As I got out of the car, there was this 70-80 year old blue haired lady ogling the Z. I could see her mouthing Oh wow, Oh wow! I bet she hasn't uttered those words for years! :bowrofl: My wife and I got a kick out of it just because we never would have expected someone of her age notice a car like the Z. Very cool :tup:

1.5 is pretty quick consider you have to take off the bumper, I really like the kit especially the filter, I think it's an efficiency design. :tup:

Final decision. I'm selling my car. No part out. Look for it in the next few weeks to go up after I decide on final pricing. It will be price to move fast. My lost. Someone's big benefit.

Yesterday I drove to the mall to buy an X box 360 so I can play Forza4 and get better at track driving. I do not like it yet. Trying to hit the clutch is a decision of take hand off steering wheel or brake. Sounds like the real world but the angle your finger must contort to is not natural yet.

Also I need a hard drive to install it properly.

Today I am still working on that ticket. I passed a slow poke in the newly reduced speed limit zone. A few seconds later a cop passed the other direction. Like I said, I am still working on that ticket. :tup:
