im on OEM pads as well, but the SS lines are another valuable mod. i cant say how great they are. smooth and consistent pedal feel makes the car feel entirely different. our sport brakes are pretty good as it is, but with the SS lines it feels AMAZING

Tonight I am off to possibly have two root canals. I'll have the Z at least to comfort me.

Paid for two root canals, need two, but the one was so difficult (2 hours), I'm doing the the other next week.

I had a pretty good drive home too. VDC off and about a mile free of others then got behind someone that was showing off how fast he could drive his van. 40 in a 30 and I'll take it over 25 any day. I thought he was letting me by so I passed only to realize he was just losing control. I guess he got it back and came back onto the road. Thats how I realized he did not intend to let me pass.

Oh well, I completed the pass and he did not crash so all is well.

What dyno were you using? My goal is at least 300whp on my GM Nismo.

That is wicked hilarious....glad you made it through unscathed.

No telling who or what you'll encounter on the road anymore....makes you wonder how some people even obtain a license.

Took the Z for a drive down the highway and back. Very boring, very straight, piece of road. At least I was in the Z

I put fix-a-flat (which on the bottle it says your not suppose to put in Z-rated tires) in my back right tire because there is a slow air leak. My stock tires only have 11k miles :shakes head:

Yesterday was close to 100 degrees. At 6AM it was 76*. So driving home at four in the after noon the fog starts to roll in. By the time I get home the roads are wet and some people have their wipers on. As usual a Mustang is holding up traffic, A Lexus 330, me, a Subaru Forester, and finally a Ford 150 or similar 80's truck.

The 330 and took the other direction and in the final mile home, I was alone. I really like the new Michelins. I turned the VDC on, as it was wet and set the light off at one point. May have saved me and might be the usual flash when its off. But I do not recall it going off in this particular place.

Waiting for Msster Cylinder to come in at Dealership...clutch has been sticking to the floor

Drove with the wife last night for the first time in a long time, and she finally experienced the "driving a modded Z Phenomenon"

There has actually been talk about maybe getting rid of the Z as we need a 3rd car so I can drive my 10mth old to daycare and drive in Winter

Well last night in the span of 1 hr...4 stops...I had 6 people emphatically compliment the Z...and twice walking back to the car, a group of people standing around it

She was like "crap...everytime I think your car is useless and you should get rid of it, something like that happens...I couldn't do that to you"

:D
