Arrived home today after being away all week. Drove her around town 'til her temps got up to 200 and I was happy. Ahhhh, life's simple pleasures.

Washed, shined tires, cleaned glass and other interior bits. Buddy coming over in the morning and we are meeting another friend of mine for breakfast. Then it's on to Cars and Coffee at Michelin's N.A. headquarters. Pretty cool that Michelin handed out some really cool umbrellas last time. They also tend to have a tire on display and people there to answer questions.

Couldn't drive yesterday! Hatch actuator was broken, and my hatch wouldn't close. The gears were stuck. As soon as I disassembled it completely, it sprung loose. Looks like its the same one as the 350z guys have... that breaks.

On the track today. First session good. Been awhile (10 months) but getting used to the grip again. The car is a total different animal. The lower weight is so different. Brakes so much easier but the Carbotech XP10 might be to much for the tires in the slower braking zones. Not sure how that is. The high speed brake zones work great. Maybe it's me and how I'm modulating going in. Hard to get into the throttle and get a good exit speed from the lighter rear end. But if I get better entry speed that will reduce that some.

I got a new exhaust today. Missed out on a Z caravan to a BBQ down in S Florida, but I think this makes up for it..

Washed, waxed, cleaned seats and interior, and put the cheap Discount Auto cover on it for overnight. I'm TOTALLY fed up with getting up every morning after I wash and wax it and having DEW and YELLOW POLLEN all over my car, it looks like soup lately.
Rant about pollen and allergies over.
At least it's not snow. I should count my blessings.

Installed GT-R start button, replaced worn floor mats, changed diff and transmission fluid, removed the clutch assist spring, and adjusted the parking brake. It was a fun day. :) Tomorrow is paint chip repair day.

Cleaned up the used VLSD I picked up to go in the Z inside and out. Figured I could have a little fun with it, they don't call it a pumpkin for nothing.
