What did you do with your Z today V (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Finished my stereo off by installing a Zenclosure with a 10' JL W3, and an Alpine MRV-M500. Sounds great and has given me more of a reason to not wanna get out of my Z!

i motored my Z and QD'ed afterwards. was a nice drive this am.

Drove the Z home, there was a guy who was trailing me. Then he tried to keep pace with me. I was like dude what u doing. U look mad foolish, then when we were @ an intersection I was looking at him going back and forth revving his car.

I just let him make a dumbass out of himself, I didnt say anything, the pedestrians on the crosswalk though they called the popo on him.

The car has been in the garage getting the oil cooler installed for a while, finally got everything hooked up tonight. I'll let the pipe sealant set a bit, fill it with coolant tomorrow, and pray it works!

what kind of setup do you have here?

i fuel starved tonight. second time. i didn't fill up with gas and wasn't thinking straight. forgot i was at 1/4 tank and took the on ramp too fast.

luckily this time it started up and puttered along for a second and then on the second start up i was able to take off and fill up

I staved her on the track last week at a little over half tank.

(It was toward the end of the day, and my top off tank was all used up)

I retrofitted the 2012 water-to-oil cooler to my 2009, using the heat exchanger portion (the part that goes between the oil filter and block), and put it on its own cooling system. It has a surface mount thermostat on the upper oil pan, an electric pump to move the coolant, and a cooler/fan assembly.

I tested it out and all seems to be working as expected. It was a good day with outside temps at 90. Without the cooler the oil temp would easily go over 220 at 4,000 rpm for a short time. With the cooler the temp held a bit over 200. I can't wait to get her back on the road and see how it performs.

Glad to hear no major issue with the fuel starve, and you got running again.
