I decided to clean my Z and do it right....i washed it carefully and then used a clay bar twice, removing any left over imbedded grime...then I washed the wheels and put some nice tire black on the tires...I carefully checked the front of the car for spots and chips and patched in every one of them..Then i slowly buffed to remove any slight swirl marks, then washed it again. I dried it with a cloth and then applied a coat of finish which I hand buffed to a brilliant shine..
Then I washed each window carefully and then cleaned the inside, vacuuming the carpets and seats and cleaning the dash..

Altogether it took me about four hours.

When it was done my wife asked me to do her Honda. I got a bucket of soap and water, washed it with a sponge and sprayed it off..
Ten minutes later it was done...

Just ordered a couple K&N drop in filters($99). I have been trying to decide whether I wanted to spend more money on a full cai but decided it wasn't worth it for me at the moment. I'll be dropping probably ~1100-1200 on a set of PSS tires in a few months anyways.

honestly that and the post-maf tubes are all you really need, imo for trouble-free non-ac line worrying cai.
