I also had a good tunnel to downshift through, love that sound of 3k+ rpm winding up vvel opens right up and car puts out a whole different tone

Is there a lot of drone when cruising on the highway? I'm eyeing the 18in resonated cbe but dont want too much drone.

I think you will be fine with that. I have 12" res hi flow cats and 12" res cbe, yes there is drone in 6th from 45-80 once you get to 80 it goes silent

yours should be much more mellow then mine. mine is not a daily driver so I can make it "race car" because Race Car"!

No drone in cabin if going with the 18" resonator, thats specifically why I went with that over 12", Cf mufflers through...lets a bit more sound through than the Stainless Steel but I think its the perfect balance.

Mines not a DD either but for the time being the Z is more a GT car than race car for me. That and I think I'm over loud/droning exhausts.......god I sound old...

The Fast Intentions in tunnels is just epic, I notice people rolling there windows down and love seeing there reactions when I downshift, echoes throughout the tunnel.
