How did that go? Any problems?

The only problem was on one of the struts the C clip inside of the cup was stopping the ball from fully going in. As a result I couldn't insert the locking clip. The fix was to take a small flat screwdriver and rotate the C clip until it was sitting in such a way that the ball could be fully inserted.

Yeah curious about the hood bowing thing.

I studied my hood prior to the install and noticed the driver side sits higher than the passenger side. This was consistent for the length of the hood. I did not notice a change after the hood was installed.

the picture was taken after all the paper work was done. I went for a walk at the dealer and found out the 370z Nismo was not that rare, esp. the white ones.

Bought me a full set of red Z1 silicone hoses. I'm hoping this is a project I can't screw up.

Took this awful pic of my car as I went to pick it up. The pearl white looks SO GOOD at night but it's hard to get a good pic with my phone camera.

So use your imagination! :)

Bought a Nismo radiator cap just cuz. Don't know why. Bored, I guess.
Oh, also had my first instance of fuel starvation at 1/2 tank on a very hard right looping turn. Turned off the car, re-started it. All good. Went to Shell for more V-Power.

probably helps that you removed all the plastic pieces from in there.

Nice. Your car looks just like the 370z on the right.
White 370z do look very nice.

I took it with the iPod touch. It's not as good as a real camera but it's better than nothing :)

I had them on when I installed them and took them off after. I made cuts in the plastic covers to make it possible to remove them while the struts are installed.

Drove to Yuma this past weekend with golf buddy and played in a fun match. The trip was 450 glorious mile of open road. Got several compliments from the Boarder Patrol officer at the check point after bottoming out on their steel speed bump. :ugh2:

Bro that's the best del taco!

I WILL BE STOPPING THERE ON MY WAY TO VEGAS THIS WEEKEND! :happydance:

Hotrodz 01-22-2013 11:19 PM

Dude, maybe I will see ya on the road. Head to Specialty Z for an UpRev tune on Monday. Headed to my bro's house in Apple Valley on Saturday.

The taste of the food at the Del Taco in Barstow is the bomb. When the owners decided to sellout and franchise the business, they kept the original recipes to only be used at their restaurant. I always get my fix when I pass through. How do I know this...was friends with the owner daughter in High School.

shadowfax 01-22-2013 11:32 PM

OH man, that's why it tastes so good! nice! I will be swinging through sometime around lunch on Friday!
