The manual says 105K." :shakes head: So I went inside to buy some (not the slightest bit interested in waiting and certainly not getting a full flush). After purchase inside I ask one of the service guys if I can borrow a funnel, and the guy responds incredulously that they can't lend tools to customers, as though I'm going to run off with their $0.75 funnel. Said fine, screw you too, and drove back to the office.

I only added a little because I don't want to overfill while it's hot. I will check it again tonight at home when it is on level ground and the engine is cold. Here's my red Solo cup funnel :icon17:

IIRC....service schedule (not manual) sez 30k mile to flush the coolant. Even if it did not, I had mine flushed for free with the 30k mile servicing. Call me old skool but 105k miles on same coolant is way to long before flushes. Running the OEM Nissan GREEN coolant part # L248SP. I think they changed to blue but green still works. They gave me a gallon for free awhile back...so money saved. :tiphat:

LED daytime running lights finally 86'ed. Just weren't feasible with that tow bracket (also one broke so yeah).

Hrmm... I don't remember seeing that in the service manual. I have to take another look. I'll probably just do this the next time I have a chance since my research tells me it's a pretty easy DIY

The Nissan GREEN Coolant is a different product altogether than the Nissan BLUE Coolant. At the dealership, the green stuff is out on the shelf for sale, but the blue stuff he had to go to the back to get. The blue is supposed to be longer lasting. The manual (specifically pg 8-8) states that mixing the two will lower the life expectancy of the factory-filled blue fluid. Of course, if you aren't pushing the change interval, this shouldn't make any difference.

Thanks for the 411, knew the blue was the better of the two. Now recalling I know I had the upper radiator hose replaced so they may have flushed it then. Dunno....gonna have to check service receipts to retract...for the record BLUE is the way to go. :tiphat:

Speaking of retarded dealerships. I think we've solved the mystery of my f'ed up wheel. The dealership actually used a touchless tire mount at the maserati dealership next door....

...

Then they took the car through their automated touchless car wash. Derp.

I did my first mod, Proclips iPhone 5 cradle. 5 minute install and looks pretty good. I will post some pics when I get a chance.

Officially have the mod bug! Shoes, exhaust and intake in no particular order!

I drove her to La Jolla here in San Diego this morning. I could tell drivers were lurking around her while driving down 5 South. I valeted (yeah I validated this word ) her myself and found the best spot which defeats the purpose but I don't trust any of them. It was right in front of my room where I can see and hear her.
