Yep, don't see why not.
No bugs, better engine, better steering, lighter!
Excited, indeed...

What about you?

I agree with some of the others, shouldn't be too many bugs to worry about. The engine isn't new and I'm also opting for the 7 speed auto so I'm not worried about the new synchro rev match feature. Other than that there isn't much to worry about (I'm sure some issue will come up eventually but I doubt it will be anything major)... I've never had major problems with any of my past Nissan/Infiniti vehicles (1996 Altima GXE, 2001 Altima SE, 2003 Altima SE and the two below in my sig that I still own). They keep on improving and becoming better and I'm really liking the 370Z. I was considering getting a 2008 350Z but now I'm glad I waited because the 370Z is much better looking (IMO the 370Z looks a lot more aggressive and masculine than the 350Z) and now offers the same tech goodies (hard-drive based navigation, music box, paddle shifters, etc...) I'm used to in my G sedan.

I'll be buying it first year. I don't think its going to have too many problems. Although I'm worried about how the synchrorev system will handle human mistakes.

I don't think it'll be that bad as a first year model. A lot of the drivetrain and suspension should be shared with the G37 coupe, and I haven't heard of that many problems yet.

I might end up getting one first year.

I am getting 1st gen possibly. Not to much to worry I believe. Nissan will be very very careful to get this car in a very good shape, to many eyes on nissan right now with the release of GTR and a lot of expectation for the 370z. They are very aware of what they are doing right now.
About the Sycro Trans, well, dont think that will have problems at all, maybe people miss using it.

I believe that this will be a great car to buy and enjoy any day.

I had an 03 350 and never had a problem with it in any sense. I am not too worried about the first year model being buggy, that's what a warranty is for. I will buy a first year model, probably in March or April.

I will be buying first year.
The "boomerang" head and taillights are not a problem for me.
I think Nissan has the "bugs" worked out of this one.

Its engine is only what, 30% different than the previous?

So basically you have 70% of an engine that has been examined and retooled since 2003 and a Nav/climate system already tested in the G37, along with engines and drive train.

The biggest concerns might be for the 7SPD Auto which will be for the warranty, recalls, and me to figure out
