Will you be purchasing the 1st year production 370Z?

I will be buying first year. The "boomerang" head and taillights are not a problem for me. I think Nissan has the "bugs" worked out of this one. Its engine

I will be buying first year.
The "boomerang" head and taillights are not a problem for me.
I think Nissan has the "bugs" worked out of this one.

Its engine is only what, 30% different than the previous?

So basically you have 70% of an engine that has been examined and retooled since 2003 and a Nav/climate system already tested in the G37, along with engines and drive train.

The biggest concerns might be for the 7SPD Auto which will be for the warranty, recalls, and me to figure out

7 sp has been out foralmost a year now.
