Yes let's get rid of everything on the Z that doesn't have a decent function at road speeds.
Since we are pointing fingers at people.
To clarify, no one looks at a super car and says "gee I wish that looked like a ford escort, it's just too flashy". If the guy wants to add some trim, who cares. IMO it really makes the front end look more aggressive.
