Jamaica has done that also with he's SC'ed 370.
1) Depends on the dealer. 2) Burden of proof sits with them, to prove what you modded is what caused the problem. I wouldn't want to fight with them in court over it, just me... 3) What you mod is uaually the part of the warranty that is voided, and not the rest of the warranty. EX: You put on a catback exhaust on and your radio goes out, they should still fix the radio.
