will look at an axleback, swift springs, and wheel set over the weekend for it too.
Congratulations mr. kenchan! I really like the Fit for a DD. If and when I get to the point that I can't/won't take the Z to the office, I'm getting a Fit.

I test drove one a while back and it reminded me of my 1979 Civic CVCC 5-speed. LOVED that little car.

Anyone, please share some pictures of the new addition.

thanks, mr.gurney. yah, when i first got the 2008 5MT it reminded me of the 91 civic hatch i had. the 2009 AT does fine just as long as i dont drive it. i hate the frikken AT in that car. the new 2012 is MT and seating position was HELLS BETTER than the 2008 5MT which felt like riding my kid's bike so i was sold immediately. i suppose i will post up some snaps tomorrow.

wow, quite a work whore you were today. GJ!! have fun out there at the meet.

i think im going to do the waterless wash tonight too. it's still too windy and the last thing i need is dust collecting in the water beads while drying the car.

So, now that I know I'm replacing the 6 in a matter of months to a year, I can't decide if I want to go super-practical, practical-fun, or just go nuts and get another sports car.

Decisions, decisions...

congrats on the Fit, kenchan! I am not up to date, but what were your criteria when purchasing this car and what other models did it beat out?

thanks, bruce. criteria was simple.. cargo space with rear seat up, 4 door hatch, fuel efficient, regular gas, reliable, and pretty good looks. and for me, since i already have a 2009, a lot of the bits are compatible.

the closest condenders i considered were:

2012 Impreza hatch (not a bad car, availability issues, price on higher end, just didnt care for subaru quality and service historically bad experience)

MS3 (was my original choice but turned out not as good as i remembered from an earlier test drive i did back in 2009, and #2 from most expensive).

Fiesta hatch (didnt like the interior, quite small cargo space)
Focus hatch (just didnt care for this car, im not a ford person)

SonicLTZ hatch (cargo space too small)

GTI 5dr (great interior and all, but pricy, and driving dynamics like a sedan, dealer unwilling to work with price, most expensive).

Juke SV 6MT(great driving dynamics, i liked the character, fun to drive, but cargo space and interior too small)

used STI's... all were either modded or one was in an accident per carfax...didnt feel like paying for new one.. would've gotten one even premium gas.

Curious ?: What do you all like to use for interior glass cleaning when you have tint?

Any experience with DP Plex-All?

I use the same stuff as i use on the glass -- Invisible Glass or my homemade concoction (which actually is the best, but I get lazy sometimes).

Griot's WindowCleaner with glass mf towel. as long as there is no ammonia or super strong detergents, you're fine.
