SiriusXM really annoys me.

The Mustang has Sirius, so I created a SiriusXM account when I registered that radio.

Now, with the S2000, I bought a SiriusXM radio tuner so I can have it in that car too. I log on to my SiriusXM account and go to add a new radio. I type the radio ID in and it tells me I can't add an XM radio to a Sirius account.

So, I had to log out and create a SECOND SiriusXM account for my XM radio which is labeled SiriusXM.

It is nice to have some quality sound now. I've got decent bass and I can actually hear the radio with the top down on the highway! Stock was so bad. It'd get so distorted, and even when you could hear it still sounded like crap.

happytheman 06-30-2012 05:15 PM

What's your main source of entertainment? MP3 CD? USB? Sirius?

m4a1mustang 06-30-2012 05:21 PM

Sirius. I always have it on BPM 51, Alt Nation 36, or Hits 1 (channel 2)

Alchemy 06-30-2012 05:42 PM

Mr. Alcheng, dif clicking noise. Trunk just bounces but wow, good memory!! We had it apart today and didnt find anything. Ugh.

best stations

JARblue 06-30-2012 06:07 PM

I like how Mr. Kenchan takes his Z for a drive and then QD after he gets back. I guess that's the difference from a DD - today I washed it and then took it to run errands :icon17:

Looked like rain as we were leaving Central Market, but we didn't actually encounter anything. I finally put the new wiper blades after the wash, so that's probably part of the reason we missed the rain.

Company here, so I'm out for the night :hello: Going to try to take it easy on the drinking tonight so I can make an appearance with the Z group before Cars & Coffee tomorrow morning. Easier said than done ;)

My store has radio on 9 hrs/day so I can't listen to radio in my car anymore otherwise I'll get crazy… So I am relying on the USB with my favorite songs… Phil Colins… Elton John… Simon & Garfunkel… Michael Jackson… and of course my native Chinese pop songs…

And of course, engine notes… :driving:

I went autocrossing! No chance of winning with my c Stock 370Z in the club full of Hoosiers and miatas, but it was very fun. Third autoX event. http://img.tapatalk.com/4476f1be-a3c7-8340.jpg
http://img.tapatalk.com/4476f1be-a3dc-2813.jpg

Still running the original set of potenZas that came with the car 2 years ago. I noticed 40psi in front and 32 rear (heated up to 36) worked well according to the "chalk" trick.

This trophy was from my 2nd autoX event back in April :D novice class. 25 drivers, PAX.

i have cameras set up around my house. when such dispute arises, i check footage to the exact date/time and see for myself what happened. a cheap network camera can be had for like 100+ with great results if you dont need night vision. and it can be setup from inside the house if you want. :)

it rids solicitors too as i can send the picture to our neighborhood watch program if i see the same face more than twice. i like the folk's facial expressions on these intentionally partially hidden cameras. :icon17:

hi jar! :hello: yah, i dont do this on my honda Fit at all. my G gets special treatment too. wash or sprayon car wash every Friday and only if it's nice out does she come out to play on Sat afternoon. otherwise sleeping sipping on battery manager until next work day. :icon17:

hi mr. gale- you have a might fine looking kitchen too. enjoy your 2 beers. :icon17: that quick release tripod mount was just the regular adhesive mount less the adhesive + 1/4" screw hole epoxyed to the bottom of the quick release. not the cleanest work but it's functional. im going to clean it up some more and dinoc the surround to make it look more appealing (not yet Z-worthy look.. lol :icon17: )

On long trips, especially at night when I'm tired, I'll put it on Playboy Radio. That keeps me awake.

I tried to listen to that channel but it was too "hard" to do that and focus on my driving.

Oh yeah -- how could I have left out The Boneyard? Great station also.

:bowrofl:

It really helps on those long drives. But eventually you find yourself pulled over on the side of the road. Then the cops pick you up and throw you in the pen with pee wee.

Hope you find that exhaust. IMHO fujimura sounded the best so went with that. My second choice was Greddy Ti exhaust (catback) for sound, weight, appearance, followed by FastIntentions for the look. :)

Fast Intention and Invidia most likely, but I think I am most likely going for Invidia... still looking at some reviews and feedback... both of them have the notes that I like.

I looked up the Berk too, sounds great!! A bit more than my budget... same reason I bias Invidia over the F.I.

Want to save up some $$$ here and there for a set of new 19...

if it can fits aftermarket, the OEM should be fine.
