mr alcheng- yah, if i do decide on the impreza 13', i need to decide if i want to risk MT or risk-free CVT. The MT can get to 60 around 8sec which is still slow but quick enough, while CVT around 45min, but if i get CVT, i can give it to the wife when she's done with the FitSport(AT) in 2yrs.

by that time i think i may retire the G35C and will get me a real dd... perhaps a STI hatch in the new formfactor. i donno yet, i need to think some more.

cool, those pilot sport a/s's are grippy tires. probably better grip than most cheezo summer tires like hankook, kumho, nitto, toyo, falken. :stirthepot:

Mr.kenchan, the 8 secs 0-62 is a bit :ugh2: but still beat a Prius :bowrofl: , I will suggest take the CVT for now and get yourself a real DD when you retire the G35C, this seems a better route.

Got the price from the vendor about the Nismo... a very good price but it's a bit out of reach for me right now... therefore, my "Good Wheel Hunting" is still going on.... :icon17:

mr. alcheng- hahaha. :icon17: yah, it's not fast but the hatch serves the intended purpose i suppose. the more i think about it, i think it's smarter to just get the CVT even though it's even slower than the MT. at least the wife can use it if i dont drive it much in the summer time and need the battery recharged. lol

if the MS3 was as decent as i remembered from 3yrs ago i would've bought it last week but oh well, either i out grew it or it was never that good.

Mr.kenchan... I've driven couple CVTs from different brands and they are actually pretty good, and responsive in MT mode too, although I am not a fan of those paddle-shift-arcade-tranny, but it performs quite well.. :tiphat:
