hummm, exactly opposite for me. my droid4 has no issue, im always connected. it's my pc. i know it auto-logs out if i have no activity for like 15min, but it's like im actively reading/typing and suddenly when i try to post or edit something the site tells me i dont have permission. :icon14:

perhaps it's the firewall or something setup on the computer's end.

My phone is a droid, too. odd.

Thread relevancy: I drove in to work today for the first time in 2 days. I missed my baby.

( Click to show/hide )

About two weeks ago I went to an opthamologist because for a month prior, my right eye (good eye) was watering up and not properly draining. They ran a test for blocked tear ducts, she said it was negative and gave me some drops thinking it was just irritation. I used the drops for a week. The day after I stopped the drops, I woke up and realized that I couldn't see as far as I used to. My eye is still watering up too. For the last few days, I've felt sinus pressure around the eye and today I can feel pressure all over my forehead. Today my vision seems worse than yesterday. I've been looking online for answers about this stupid drug. A doctor on a message board says that my symptoms worry him and that the drug should be out of my system by now and no longer affecting my vision. So, $190 later, I've got ruined vision and she wants me to come back on the 26th for another follow up.

I went to a regular physician twice before the optician. The first time they found a scratch on said eye and gave me an antibiotic to use for a week. Well watery eye was STILL there so she said it could be a blocked tear duct, so go home and do some hot compresses and massage it, I need to refer you to a specialist.

I know that it feels good to have her back, huh? I drove my car into work on this beautiful day, too. I will be taking her on another road trip tomorrow to Vermont. Going to watch my niece graduate from high school.

True..If they just sell them in China, then a VERY SMART move.

If they ship them here, then uh oh...

But China even if they are slowing down, is a HUGE market..

Well, sort of. She had a tough home life in her teen years -- parents divorced, bounced between households for a while, etc. I'm glad that she made it through. Now, if I can just get my son's a$$ in gear. He graduated but screwed up royally at a good community college and now is at home doing nothing. Needless to say, my wife and I are not pleased. He's 20. :shakes head: I'm gonna have some projects for him to do this summer.

the bacpac LCD is a must-have i think. i set it to turn off automatically at 120sec which is plenty of time to setup the camera inside my car, check the aim, etc.

I have a bag of GoPro accessories here and waiting for a GoPro (this weekend!) I didn't think of the LCD. Better put it on my wish list, I was also going to buy a backup battery.

Does this surprise you? Look at how much money GM is spending/spent in China. Sick. Some of those people make a dollar a week... How can anyone else compete with that? Who wants to compete with that?

yes, huge market that someone will take even if one doesnt agree building things there. it's all about money that nissan will generate that will be put towards engineeirng that might be our next sports car here.

i see some patriotic folks put stupid 'no to made in china', but the american flags they wave at parades and stuff are probably made in china. lol :icon17:

The Buick make was basically saved by the Chinese market. When GM slashed Saturn, Pontiac, etc, Buick was safe because it is one of the best selling luxury marques in China.

AMEN...

I am wealthy, and I am not as healthy as I want to be, due to major issues.

I am working on being able to enjoy all that I have worked for in Life.

Health is number one, then work on other things...

Money can buy happiness, in the form of peace of mind and security, but if you are not healthy, it only pays the medical bills and all your toys just sit there.

I'm glad you're well off and all, but I don't have the $$$ to be throwing at physicians and specialists every week. I'm so pissed off that no one can figure this thing out and even more pissed about the car stuff on top of it. I need a drink. Or sex.

I am sorry you are going through what you are going through..

I did not mean to sound arrogant, I just point out that health is so much more important than money..I know, easy for me to say, but it is so true.

I agree that spending money on doctor's can be so expensive..But I blew it in life when i was younger and I am paying for it now...Literally.

So taking care of one's self is a top priority.not that I followed my own advise, I was a dumbA$$..

And now I am paying for it ...My Fault..

Yeah, after leaving college, I got a job and never returned home. I was fortunate. Jobs were available. However, that's no excuse for not preparing yourself for when things turn. We warned him that we are going to start terminating the services that he has enjoyed for free thus far, unless he can pay for them. So far, he is able to pay for his cell phone because of his inheritance money (unearned money). When that runs out, he'd better find a job or some way to earn his keep. If he doesn't try to improve himself, and he can't pay, we're going to make him :gtfo2: 22 sounds like a good age to enforce this ultimatum. He has 2 years. :shakes head:

By the way, if he gets a job or something and starts to do something productive, then I won't mind his living at home ... as long as he's making progress towards independence.

This was the culmination of a few months’ worth of work and now we get to wait and see what they decide.

The drive home from Menlo Park, dropping one of our guys at SFO on the way, was big joy-time. 125 miles in 3.5 hours. I love the bay area sometimes.

I get bored so I look at cars. Remarkable vehicles I saw, along with their sighting frequency, were:

350Z 14
240Z 1
Nissan Leaf 1
Toyota Echo 4
370Z 0
Ferrari Enzo 0
Nissan Juke 1 (mine)
Assorted Riced-out Acura/Honda/Mitsu 53
Toyota Prius 4,325

That's like an average of 35.7 mph. :barf: That completely blows chunks. Hope all went well though! I guess time will tell. :)

I heard George Clooney is out at his villa in Como this weekend and being from LA and all, I will try to grab a photo when I can lol :) j/k!

The drive down through Switzerland with the Alps and lakes is really nice cool drive. Ive done it once before on a trip to France/Monaco/Geneva a few years ago. The weather is great this coming weekend and I have friends who go to the Lake Como area and keep telling me how much Im missing. So now its time to go see what its all about!

Picture attached from the Swiss tourism site -Lugano in the evening. Looks pretty nice!

I would say something to my dad but he and I parted ways when I was 24 and have not spoken in 20+ years. I think Id tell him to well.....take a hike. It was his call and all. Not mine. He raised me ok but was an odd one at times. Live and learn and live better I say :) Cheers!! :hello:

We got some verbal feedback yesterday (I say "we" although it was almost all me). The prospect was amazed at the level of detail we went into, that we used their exact scenarios with their data/records. I wanted to say something like "that's how we roll", but I said "thank you" instead. We often compete against guys who use PowerPoint and screen shots and "blah, blah, blah" to prove business cases -- Lazy, Lazy, Lazy.

When we try to talk people into spending 6 figures with us -- which takes many months, we really want to prove they should.
