USA is a big town. got everything.

i was thinking about the 2nd gen.... oh? they quit already?
i guess i will need to look at mazdaspeed3's then.

i know. ive been to NYC and buffalo and other parts of cow tippin' NY.
Well they are still For sale, but I think there will not be 2013 models. Mazdaspeed 3 is nice do you like the focus St?

Tech and advisor aren't sure if replacing the fuel sending unit and/or gauge will fix the problem of the gauge not reading full.
Tech can't find the cam sensor oil leak but did find a coolant leak!

lol, im kinda skeptical replacing just the guage is going to fix your problem.
i recommend replacing the sending unit first and see wat happens. cluster is a simple circuit and LED's dont blow this early in the game... they are diodes, not bulbs.

It sounds like they are afraid to do some work. My tech said the only way to check the fuel senders was to drop the tank. He then told me that he may as well replace the fuel senders anyways. He also said Nissan has had previous issues in other models with the fuel senders so he wasn't surprised by the thought of faulty senders in the Z. BTW my fuel gauge has been registering full ever since the fuel senders were replaced.

The advisor says that the tech has been researching into it and from various calls to Nissan/message forums, the consensus is that replacing either of the parts rarely fixes the issue. So they aren't sure what to do.

Once again =====>

No more dealership for me.

I would make them "fix" something. Start with the gauge (I only say that because they sound like lazy phucks), then next tank of gas when it doesn't work, take your car back, jam your foot up their azz, and tell them to fix the fuel senders.

which does bring me to the focus ST. but im not a ford guy at all. and this neighbor a few doors down is a ford fanatic so im not sure if i want to be friends with this guy... he's kind of a crazy guy

Carbotechs on the way. I have enough pads and rotors to last me two years. I love getting deals.

Common sense leads me in this direction as well, but they obviously lack this at the dealership. I'm about to say fvck it, just fix what you can and give me my baby back.

yah, this is why i hate the dealership... but for warranty work i suppose you have to let them play their game since they are paying for it. well, at your inconvenience...

If they would just replace the two fuel senders, and the associated o-rings...life would be great.

Sound simple...Maybe a call to corporate about the lack of service is needed ?

Sounds like a lazy dealership that needs a call from their boss...F what they think of you...

Sometimes we must demand respect. What you are asking for does not sound unreasonable.

It is just not BILLABLE...That is why they are messing with you...
