speaking of MS3 as in mazdaspeed3, i am pretty certain to get that in the next month or so... maybe late Aug just in time for kids starting school. the G's been great for dd-ing but for kids pickups every other day, it's a tad big of a hassle and can't carry anything. will still keep the G though and use as dd in the summer time until i am certain to retire her completely. :p

 we will look forward to your impressions on it.

UGH, sounds terrible, Brantly. Good luck.

I just got up and Im absolutly beat. Played my third game of soccer in the league I joined last night. Not used to all this running at all. Wish we played on a Friday evening or something so I could rest the day after, going to work the next day stinks:( Ive been playing darn good though. I have 3 goals and 2 assists over the span of 3 games:) Super fun to be back playing soccer but SUPER tiring as well...

Gmorning all :hello: hope everyones day is off to a better start than Brantly's:icon17:

Speaking on the ms3 topic. My bestfriend in high school had a 2010 and now my roommate in college has a 2011. It is a GREAT car. Torque steer really isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. It is very quick and agile, and honestly it's not terribly slower than the Z. In my opinion the best mod you can do is add an injen intake. It makes the car sound 100 times better. It gets Fairly good gas mileage depending on how long you're in boost. My roommate runs continental dws and even with the all seasons it handles very well. The speed3 is a great car and has a really big following as well. I say to anyone considering it to get it.

owi1kenobi 07-24-2012 08:04 AM

Friday i installed led bulb on the car plate
saturday i installed a 19" rays sports wheels
sunday i installed a clazzio leather seat
Last night installed a dimming rear view mirror with home link and an amber compass.
Tomorrow if the parts come is i will be installing my oem rear backup camera.
hmmmm i wonder whats next......

Happy Birthday!!! (this is early because I am going to be on a plane most of tomorrow).

Have a great day!!!

LunaZ 07-24-2012 08:14 AM

I had an MS3 before ending up here.
I kind of miss the boost, and I definitely miss being able to haul some crap around while having fun at the same time.
If you're going to get an intake, get the Mazdaspeed piece.

The ms3 would be a great option if only it didn't smile so much.

I know it's early, but happy birthday Ms. Pint!

Thanks Mr. Happy! I'm totally expecting another one tomorrow. :p

So I went to dinner last night but didn't take the Z. My family gave me sh!t about how I'm always posting pictures and stuff and they never see it. Sorry, I'd rather save my gas for therapy drives. :p

Davey 07-24-2012 11:33 AM

Good afternoon or morning, whichever it is where you are.

I put another 50 miles on the Z last night, enjoying the turns.

I put 11.3 gallons of gas in it after going 295 miles - that's a bit over 26 MPG, which seems awfully good for a 1st tank of gas. :)

I had the pre-clown version.
If it weren't for the smile, I would have traded my 2007 on a newer one.

hahaha, yah, when they first came out the face was BUTTUGLY.
in recent years, hyundai's been doing a favor for mazda but bringing out BUTTUGLIER cars with dramatic body lines where you know the artist could not but the damn clay knife down. :icon17:

so today, the grin doesnt look nearly as ugly as 3-4yrs ago.

I heard Mazda was going to make the next Miata look less like "birthday kid gif" (google it if you don't know what I mean) and I hope maybe they have learned their lesson, and will do the same with the next 3.

Hey guys! I've been busy installing my FI headers, finally got them in. I have a few things to tweak and then it should be done. Yesterday I tried to get her Uprev'd to no avail. The place closest to me was the one I wanted to use, but I found out they are closed till next Monday. So then I called up a place in Orlando that a friend recommended, but they don't carry the cables yet. They wanted $1150 for everything, I said pass. Then I called up S&R in Tampa and they couldn't get ahold of their tuner, so that don't work out. Then I called HPLogic and they were booked for the next few days. Killed my day cause I only had Monday's off, and I was really hoping to get it done :( oh well, I'll try again next week...

Don't worry huck, you'll get it done eventually! Maybe something better will come along to reward you for waiting.

Yup, today pretty much sucked arse. An offsite physician's office was offline for 10 hours because Century Link is a POS. Oh well, I suppose it could happen with any provider. However, it's likely that another provider would have had the common courtesy to keep me informed as to what effen progress was being made on the problem.

On the bright side, I got to drive around a bit to different locations. :)
