Perhaps the road surface you're on is dusting, gritty, etc. Perhaps your tires aren't truly warmed up. Perhaps you're launching at too high an RPM. The bottom line is you don't get wheel spin in the Z or any car if you use the 'right' amount of throttle for a given situation and road surface. I'd absolutely put money on the fact that springs, spacers, and an alignment aren't going to change a thing.
After making a move to Corvette LS3, I changed my driving habits... With competitive driving mode on or even traction control ON, If I stomp on the pedal, wheels will spin, even when shifting gear with higher RPM. Now I see why many people will instantly say that corvette makes you a poor driver.

That being said, I agreed with other poster about OEM tires are junk and not provide enough grip.. this is specially true with OEM Good year F1 GS2 supercar runflat tires on Corvette.

I could be a horrible driver who knows... or maybe its the tires, or maybe its the traction control I was so used to in my older cars, but not this one. I still love the car, its my second Z after having German and American sports cars, so I will always be a Z driver. I just wanted to get a feel for some outside perspective as I really don't have any friends who are into cars.

So if it was a dumb question, I didn't mean to insult anyone's intelligence on this forum. No one here is dumb, after all, the 370z is IMO a "smart person's car." It has sophistication, technology and style. If it was a car for an idiot, we would all be on some Camaro or Challenger forum talking about how fast we can drive in a straight line.

Thanks for the good, bad and sarcastic feedback from everyone.
