I am working on a couple of short stories today -- they are really take-offs on a few movies (I did not see the movies, but am using their titles). They are:

"Michelin and Me" and "Life After Koni"

They are working titles, of course.

Good morning guys. I feel like poop today. :(

I haven't filled my car up since because I had 3/4 of a tank with 94 octane. I'm going to run this to empty then fill with 91 for my tune.

Yup, hope to do my tune end of May and will definteily have a 91 tune and get a 94, we'll see how often I use the 94 map with these prices lol.

Fuel senders eh, I might be going for a check up soon so I'll bring that up. thanks!

Yeah, they replaced the fuel senders in a couple of hours. It worth getting them replaced if you're still in warranty.

You can always rent a car. I had my street in my neighborhood repaved twice due to an errror with the contractors. I rented a car twice when they were laying down the oily stuff. :tiphat:

yes, the CS mirrors are nice, but they are manual mirrors with lockable pivot point so not sure if you want to use if your car is a dd. something to think about. for me my Z is my hobby car and noone but me comes close to the car so i dont have to worry too much about bumping the mirrors. i am careful not to bump it with my big head while QD-ing...:icon17:

Sorry for the late response.:tiphat:

mr.alchemy- what kind of mount are you using? i want to get the one mr.zforce recommended a few weeks ago in the interior/exterior section but hummm... they dont seem to be available at the moment.

yah, this is a common problem with G's too. seems like nissan can't get this fixed. modshack recommended to keep the gas near full while parked for longer than a week so that the fuel keeps lubricating the sensors. ive been filling my Z as soon as she gets to 1/2 full, so far near 3yrs no problems.

my G's been having this issue off and on. it's not all the time but some times she literally can only fill up to about 90% due to the angle of the pump nozzle. some times she is full, but the sendor shows she's only 90% full and so on. i just reset my trip meter after each fillup and use that as my backup guage.

Here is a video of my son Taylor (techfracture) navigating his 1982 280zx around the cones at the Volvo Auto-X last Saturday. This ZX was one of mine once and he converted it to a turbo. Let me tell you this: It was incredibly difficult for me to hold onto the roof and operate the camera at the same time. :icon17:

Funny -- those were my criteria for women when I was younger. As it turns out, it is not such a good approach always.

Mine registered just fine before it went into storage. I filled the tank to the brim and out the cover on it until spring. Both times I filled it up after storage, the fuel gauge gave me problems, not registering full. So I'm not sure if keeping a full tank is going to help at all, but doesn't hurt. Good tip using the trip meter. I do the same thing.

I've been putting 94 octane (the highest available at a gas station in Canada) in since I bought the car. Now I bought the car with 6000 miles on it, so who knows what the previous owner used.

I don't know that the issue is fixed yet. I haven't filled it up since they replaced the senders, (too much rain, not enough driving). I should be filling it up this week. So I'll let you know if it's all good

ahh, i see. anyway you got new sendors so, GL with the fill!

btw, on my G i dont intend to get it fixed. it's too old of a car to fix in the first place and for me, as long as i know when to fill, it doesn't bother me that much. hahaha. :D

You might have read this on another thread but me and a few friends (Super_RedZ and BeeMaaZ) went to the Motorsport Z-Car West Coast Nationals this weekend. Great event, met several cool guys and had a really fun day. It was great to see Zero also, thanks for the additional pics!

The day ended to all of our surprise when they called my name for 1st place of the 370Z stock division. I posted a few pics from the day but check out the thread http://www.the370z.com/southern-cali...29-2012-a.html to see more.
