doh, sorry to hear about your canvas blues. yah, hope you get your car back sooon!

Mr.kenchan, I remember I ran into some sort of screen-shots about displaying those gauges on a Pioneer HU or something, but yes, it's freaking slow and even the user says it's useless

Regarding the GPS, googlemaps is very accurate and have free updates and traffic, I just don't use it because it eats up my data..

I am driving a base Altima this time

At least it's not that Molysh!tBoooo

Regarding the GPS program, are you deciding to use your droid as your GPS unit? If so, I will strongly suggest you the Sygic.

I am using it on my S-II now and I can only say good thing about it. The maps are update, 3-D buildings view where available, quick satellite lock-up.
The only draw back, is the location is bit off.

However, coming from Tomtom, and having tried Co-Pilot, I-Go and Navigon, I say Sygic is the best GPS program for android, maps are preloaded with your choices of cities/states, so you can save some spaces on your memory card.

If you want to see all the GPS software for Android, click this.

Those version does not have traffic because they are cracked but safe but you can purchase the retail version later on yourself.

Hope my CAD$0.02 helps!

My Z is not going to be ready for another 2-3 days, apparently the service manager and another head of the service department found out the canvas was the old one and the work that has to be done from day 1 wasn't done at all!! I show a bit of annoyance to them but not too extreme since I still have to leave them a good mood to look after my Z... anyway, hope they'll do a good job this time.

How are everyone tonight??
Actually I run the gauge setup where it's on my phone. The speed of the gauges is dependent on the bluetooth adapter you plug into the obdII port. Mine is a higher end one and the guages are pretty much instant. I use rpms and mph to see if there is a delay.

hummm... mr.zman- now can you make that show up on your HU if you have a double din? i would prefer not to go through my smartphone, rather have a module that has video-outs.

Everyone must be out doing something fun, it's quiet in here.
Mine is 9 minutes. 18 minutes total best part of my day.

Thanks for the GJ Mr.kenchan

They didn't replace the canvas which I was told they replaced it

Today they told me they replaced the 'seam' which is the lining that goes along the edge, which we(three or us) found out they were not replaced. So I show them my confusion by asking them "So what did they do last time when I leave the car here for a week???"

Of cause they won't be able to answer my Q and I wouldn't push them to say something useless, I just told them "Well, make sure this time you guys complete what have to be completed and let me pick up the car."

Of cause I am pissed off, but I won't say anything to upset them before they finished the job.... you know... don't yell at the waiter/waitress before they serve your meal... LOL

That stinks. Being without a car for a week and they didn't do a darned thing Hopefully they make things right for you this time. Perhaps they'll offer you a free oil change for your trouble?

Yeah, I know it's a pain in the azz..but "better to be safe than....." God that's such an old cliche. How 'bout "A pound of prevention Is worth an ounce...." Hmm, that's no better. Perhaps we can say "Fore(sight), while usually removed at birth, can prove useful at times, leading to higher levels of sensitivity."

Hey..that works?!
