Domestic. Bleh. :(. I'm such an import guy that it really limits my purchasing decisions.

Everyone must be really into the nascar race. It's dead in here.

Stamped concrete. I don't roll like stonework cash flow

Watching NASCAR but it's too boring. They should just play Tony Stewart's radio communications (is there a better word for that?) on the air. I'd be very entertained.

It looks good. I am considering stamped concrete over stonework. Easier maintanence, and you don't have ants coming up between the cracks like you do with stone/pavers.

Nice patio/yard

New patio furniture -- the 240Z is still the best backyard thing.

Nice Yards Boys...

Thought I would share..

When I bought my House, it had no yard, and the Wife and I built the yard together.

WE call it "Tiny Town". Because it is a small condensed yard with a little bit of everything..Lawn, garden Boxes, Covered area..

Yes my cat "Scooby-Doo" talks to the angel...My Wife brought the angel home when I was on my death Bed and hauled it back there by herself to surprise me during my recovery..

And Doves hang out by the angel too... Strange but very cool..

Fire 05-27-2012 09:38 PM

Looks nice Bucket.

Nice job on the design. I'm a nub when it comes to real estate. What is staging a house?

She goes into a house that is for sale and pulls out all the stuff and replaces it with stuff that compliments the house to sell it quickly..Artwork, flowers. Furniture. Rugs

It draws the wives in like a moth to a flame..Sells the house faster..

She gets stuff from consignment shop where she works.. It is cool because the inside of my House looks like a model home, but the stuff is bought whole sale. Plus some Pier 1 Import stuff..

Thank you for the compliment. I agree with your assessment of the Haynes manual -- it's a real page-turner to be sure. I won't ruin it for you by telling you how it ends, OK?

Fire 05-27-2012 09:58 PM

Hi bigsix, yeah the Haynes comes in handy.

Thanks. She is one talented girl.. She designs, and I co-ordinate the building of stuff..

She made a sweet nest for me, and for a good price..

She is one of those gals that takes my truck on the weekends and goes to garage sales..

She can buy stuff for us, or buy it and sell it for triple at the consignment store..

Way before the T.V. shows about storage sales, ect... Now with the History Channel, things are much harder.

She designed the inside too. This is what she did to the stairway.. Well she designed the changes, and I paid for it.

I am a Guy...I would have just left the stairs alone..

Thanks.. She sees things that I don't . I would just leave things the way they are..

But she has vision about things and I just trust her to make things really cool.

I don't have that vision, except on my car...

I have known the haynes manual to sometimes skip steps.. My ford manual would leave out a step, and I would go to the Chilton's manual and say...WTF..

Between the two, I managed to fumble my way through.

Then if I went to a mechanic friend, he would say, oh no, all you had to do was.....

But a mechanic I am NOT...

" A Man must know his limitations..."

Man that actually sounds like it could be a really fun job and something that would be right up my wife's alley. How did she fall into that line of work, and does it generate a fair compensation?
