Yeah, it's not worrisome. My warranty runs out in January 2013 and my Z goes into storage at the end of October, so it makes sense to get all the little things fixed while I can.

I grew up in that area and have since moved to NorCal 24 years ago. Been wanting to go to this, event of the year for West Coast peeps but agan this year had a setback and hopefully next year. I was just looking on our club FB page and saw the group shot of the winners. You are posing next to a buddy of mine who's 280Z Mach II is in one of your other photos. It's the spiderman Z. I bet it was tough judging on the stock cars, they have to be very clean and detailed. We had 5 club members place from NorCal. Nowhere near the amount from SoCal but then again..three times the peeps down there.

When I lifted my car last night, I noticed this, I'm wondering how this could happen? From the occasional tire rubbing or I must of driven over something??

TGO, when you turn your wheel to the left (or fully to the right) does it make contact with that part of the fender liner?

Actually when I do a fully locked turn, I have heard a "pop" so that could have been rubbing...but its only happened on one side and I'm surprised...looks like someone chewed it or melted it lol

heard of guys complain that if they are lowered and run spacers in the front the wheel may rub the part that sticks out with the fastner.

Nothing much happen to the Z lately, but I've been thinking about putting another 5mm spacers on the rear. One question though, is it ok to add a 5mm spacer on top of the 10m studs-replacement one. I believe it should be ok.... correct me if I am wrong.

you should be fine with the 5mm on top (between your spacer and your wheel, not between spacer and hub), but make sure you get at least 10mm of thread on the stud/lug. otherwise the thread could strip.

from wat ive read, running 20mm spacers up front on stock tires + H&R springs will introduce rub on larger bumps. im not sure how low that is vs stock nor do i know what setup TGO is running. i ran 20mm spacers on stock wheels/tires and stock height, no issue, but ive never encounted huge bumps or drips to require full bump.

I am on Swift Spec-R, Koni and 15 mm spacers with no problems (except for my face muscles that get cramped from the constant grinning when I drive).
