That's funny. I've had my Z for 5 months, and I only tried my paddle shifters last week. It was cool, but I'm not sure that I'll use them regularly. Full automatic shifting is just too damned convenient. :p

ordered Berk test pipes from Real Auto Dynamics today .
ordered NISMO wheels stickers for my NISMO wheels
ordered a Mower Axle tow plate bracket
ordered a carbon fiber Z rear emblem in place of my nissan hamburger badge

Fire 05-12-2012 04:10 PM

That's the only reason I haven't done it yet. I'm not partial to it myself.

Maybe you should think about Plast-Dip if you want a flat black look.

Off my list then, thanks for the info! Let me know if you find any suitable replacement.

JARblue 05-12-2012 05:46 PM

Ran some errands earlier :driving: good to be behind the wheel of the Z again. Heading out again in a bit to Trudy's with wife's mom and brother for Mother's Day celebration.

How is the tire/wheel situation, Mr. Happy?

happytheman 05-12-2012 07:01 PM

Tires are great, wheels not so much. I haven't put any more time on the tires yet. Been rolling in the Xterra all afternoon.

Tire Kingdom will be paying for repairs and have also lost a customer for life. :(

I know it sounds like a silly question, but.....How do i get this pesky roll outta my seatbelt?

happytheman 05-12-2012 07:05 PM

Here's one of the Tire Kingdom's "impossibile" damages.

I had the same thin happen i folded it over on it self and fed the "role" or now folded belt material to behind the swivel feeder thingy... its a tight squeeze but its the only way i figured out...

What did they use a crow bar? :shakes head:

happytheman 05-12-2012 07:10 PM

Hmm, yeah I tried that when I first bought it..but didn't think I'd be able to get it to complete the roll in that swivel thingy. Guess I'll need to try it again. :)

Musta used something because it's pretty much the same on three wheels.

Pull it out far so you have slack to have sucked up by the belt tensioner... that way when you put it through your not out of belt slack to have it complete.
Yeah it will take some fiddling but you will get it!

That is shitty, from what i've read you gotten them to take care of it... which is good. Are they just going to repair the wheels or give you new ones?

I think the larger question that begs itself is "Why are you wearing a tie on a Saturday?". I have no answer for the twisted seatbelt.

happytheman 05-12-2012 07:27 PM

That was actually taken a few days ago, but thanks for your concern!
