2013 Nissan 370Z Updates - Just facts, no BS.

Funny that some people here are so excited to have the nismo with leather. I would never own a sports car with leather as you slide around so much more.

I'd prefer a Nismo with options. Not just leather, the 09-12 Nismo is bare stock - manual seat adjustment, no auto dimming mirror, no Alcantara, Nav option, integrated climate control, etc. (Bells & whistles)

For me that was what sold me on the 370z Touring/Sports w/Nav in the 2008 aside from the fact that it drives great, it felt like a ~$40K car IMO. These stuff are Standard on a lot of cars, you can get all this in other cheaper Nissan models.

you also have to remember that this isnt just a 40K car its a sports car, so some of those features are not top priority when building one.

Yeah what sold me on the base Z with sport package was that on most other cars I have to get all the bells and whistles. To me it's just more weight and more stuff to break. Honestly I like wind-up windows more than electric ones and can't stand power (read: slow) seats. Different strokes for different folks but we both landed on the same car!

The majority of the leather seat is the suede material.. i havent experienced any sliding on hard cornering.

So hold on................are they going to release the "Touring" NISMO to the rest of us common folk? If so, I am really sad now. Wonder if I could return to stock and trade in. Hmmmmmmmm..............

Unlike the regular Z in 2013. I dont think the Nismo will disappoint at all.

But it has very little change over previous Nismo's. Just wheel/calipers color and SS brake lines. No reason to upgrade your Nismo IMHO.

I wish Nissan trickled down some stuff to the Nismo that they learned from designing the Nismo 370z RC....albeit without the roll cage.

Well it's all tradeoffs, and some of those RC features wouldn't sell well to a typical "sportscar" (read: I'm in it for the looks) buyer, and/or would raise the price significantly.
