I have gotten the same stares and waves but this morning I was driving through a construction zone when the guy holding up the slow/stop sign saw my car approaching

I have gotten the same stares and waves but this morning I was driving through a construction zone when the guy holding up the slow/stop sign saw my car approaching so he waited till everyone else passed and threw up the stop just so he could come and ask me about the car. We ended up holding up traffic and he had to let me go but that was the craziest one so far.
