Couple of questions.

Okay.. So im going to be in the market for a new car, as my poor baby Donna (97 Civic Ex) is aging (208k miles) and bleeding (rear main seal leak) and is just gushing out oil (Had to fill 2qts before coming back home to dallas). So ive been following these forums for a while as far as pricing and what not...

Im planning on purchasing either

a 370z base + Sports package (Our family owns nothing but nissans/infinitis)
or
a Honda S2000 (my long time love.)

1) I want to get the homelink rearview mirror, and i was wondering is it prewired so you just snap in the homelink rearview mirror? and Also install a radar detector?

2) Also anyone mod/replace their stock audio system yet, to basically put a double din navigation system (Pioneer AVIC F700BT) in their base car. From all the pics, it looks like a perfect fit? Also does, removing factory radio, render the security system useless?

Wow. thanks. exactly as i had imagined.

umm.. i understand that in order for you to have the radar installation, you would also need the homelink mirror. Basically, my question is if i were to take off the upper panels, would i find the 370z already prewired to put on the homelink mirror? Also if not, how much would it be to get a homelink mirror installed in a base 370z?
