My Z has cloth as I prefer cloth on sports cars.
What do you use to help keep the leather looking good?

My previous two cars were leather. My 370 is cloth. I like the look/feel of the cloth (especially when it's 100+ degrees out) and don't miss leather at all.

I have the touring seats right now, I think the balance of leather and alacantra is perfect. The stylish look of leather trim, and the better grip of the alacantra seating surfaces. Not a big fan of cloth seats myself.

Myself, I like cloth in sports cars. Leather for luxury.

Personally, I enjoy taking care of leather: reconditioning seats, trim, etc.

Cloth seats can be more comfortable and feel nice.

i enjoy cloth seats and was one of the reasons why i didnt get the touring model. cant stand leather when its hot, and cant stand leather when its cold. also...the whole wrinkling of the leather once it gets worn isnt that pleasing to the eyes

Does the conditioner keep the leather from turning shiny black and also do you apply it on the alcantara or no? Also how to keep the leather steering wheel from turning shiny and less gripy?

2 options, either get some driving gloves, or just make sure and wipe it off with some good interior cleaner that's safe on leather to keep the acids from your hands from eating away at the leather on the steering wheel.

Actually, I think the conditioner makes it shiny

Leather can get lava-hot in the summer and icy in the winter.
Which do you prefer?
I owned a 1988 mustang GT in 2006 with a cloth interior. It was as-new, except for some color fade.

I owned a 1995 Trans Am in 2004 with leather. It had slight rubbing on the driver's side bolster. The back seat was cracked a bit where sun had hit it. Other than that, it was G2G.

Cloth/leather, just pick one. Cloth holds you in place better, leather gives the perception of quality.

Cloth can be cleaned professionally (My dad owns a company that can do this), leather, you wipe it up fast and that's that.

The only car I ever put leather conditioner on was my G20 Infiniti, and it is the newest, lowest-mile leather interior car I have owned except my Z06, and it has cracked the worst. I think that is the fault of the pleather/seat design, though, as it cracked where the seat compresses on the bottom/side when you sit in it.

I am not a fan of anything but warm water and a microfiber on leather, and it hasn't done me wrong yet.

I prefer leather on any car I own. I also like the Z's heated seats which as far as I know, only come on leather. Yes, no?

Cloth or leather:
I also prefer the lighter color grey on my seats, so when I get in the car while it has been sitting in the sun, I do not need to insulate my posterior.
